How to Register as a Golfer

    Create Your Account

    Click the "Register as a Golfer" button above or navigate to the Registration page from the main menu.

    1. Fill in your username, email address, and create a strong password
    2. Select "Register as Golfer" by checking the appropriate radio button
    3. Upload a profile photo (optional)

    Select Your School

    Choose your school from the dropdown menu. This will determine which teams you can join.

    1. Select your school from the dropdown list
    2. If your school is not listed, please contact the administrators
    3. Once you select a school, the system will show available teams

    Select Your Team

    Choose the team you belong to from the list of available teams at your school.

    1. Select your team from the dropdown menu
    2. If your team is not listed, please contact the administrators
    3. Your team selection will determine which events you can participate in

    Add Your Golf Information

    Enter your gender and golfer rank information to complete your profile.

    1. Select your gender (required for golfers)
    2. Enter your golfer rank/seed (if available)
    3. This information helps with tournament pairings and handicap calculations

    Submit Registration

    Review your information and submit your registration for approval.

    1. Check that all your information is correct
    2. Click the "Register" button to submit your application
    3. You'll receive a confirmation message that your registration is pending approval

    Wait for Approval

    An administrator or your coach will review your registration and approve your golfer account.

    During the approval process, you'll see a "Pending Approval" message when you log in. Approval typically takes 1-2 business days. If you need urgent access, please contact us through the Contact page.

Using Your Golfer Profile

Once your golfer account is approved, you'll have access to your golfer profile. Here's how to use it:

Accessing Your Profile

After logging in, you'll be directed to your profile page which contains all your information and golf cards.

Your profile page displays your personal information, golf information, and tab panels for golf cards and statistics.

Managing Your Golf Cards

In the "Golf Cards" tab, you can view all your active and past events.

  1. Active Events shows tournaments that are currently in progress
  2. Past Events shows your completed tournaments
  3. For each event, you can view and edit your scores for each hole during active events
  4. View your performance stats including front 9, back 9, and final scores

Recording Your Scores

During active events, you can record your scores for each hole:

  1. Navigate to the "Golf Cards" tab and select an active event
  2. Enter your strokes for each hole in the designated input fields
  3. Scores are saved automatically when you tab out of a field
  4. You'll see different colors for scores: green for under par, red for over par
  5. You can switch between Front 9, Back 9, and Final Score views using the tabs

Assigned Cards Feature

The Golf Tournament System allows golfers to score for each other:

  1. Click on "Assigned Cards" to view cards assigned to you by other golfers
  2. You can assign your card to other golfers in your pairing group
  3. When scoring for another golfer, enter their strokes accurately for each hole
  4. This feature promotes fair play and accurate scoring during tournaments

Viewing Your Statistics

The "Statistics" tab provides valuable insights on your golf performance:

  1. View performance stats like events played, rounds completed, and best score
  2. See your par performance: eagles, birdies, pars, bogeys, and doubles
  3. Track your handicap and skill level
  4. Identify your strengths and areas for improvement
  5. Monitor your progress over time with the score trend chart

Updating Your Profile

You can update your profile information at any time:

  1. Click the "Edit Profile" button on your profile page
  2. Update your personal information, golf information, or change your password
  3. Upload a new profile photo if desired
  4. Click "Save Changes" to update your profile

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does the approval process take?

The approval process typically takes 1-2 business days. You'll receive an email notification once your account is approved.

What if my school or team isn't listed?

If your school or team isn't available in the system, please use the Contact page to request the addition. Provide your school name, team details, and any other relevant information.

Can I participate in tournaments right away?

Once your account is approved, you'll be able to participate in events that your team has been registered for. Your coach typically handles team registrations for tournaments.

What should I do if I'm not approved?

If your account hasn't been approved after 2 business days, please reach out through the Contact page. Provide your username and registration date.

How do I record my scores during a tournament?

During active events, go to your profile page, click on the "Golf Cards" tab, find the active event, and enter your scores for each hole. Scores are saved automatically as you enter them.

Can I edit my scores after an event has ended?

No, scorecards are only editable during active events. Once an event has ended, the scores are finalized.
